Some140 of us graduated and about 40 people turned out for the reunion. Counting spouses, 76 people showed up. I suspect we're a valid statistical sample for insurance salesmen. How many dead? (Six -- four car wrecks, a heart attack and the wrong end of a murder-suicide). How many millionaires? (One for certain, two most likely, maybe two more depending on paper values). There were four lawyers, a nurse, at least four teachers. A handful of construction workers, an auctioneer, a surveyor, a dealer at a casino. A stockbroker, a banker, a couple small businesspeople. Some stay-at-home moms, a Yoga instructor, and even a biker chick. I think I was the only dot-commie. More people exchanged addresses than e-mail. |
